Hi, Highly Sensitive Person -
I'm doing something a little different this week for the US Thanksgiving holiday.
I'm not that interested in piles of food and needing to wear stretchy pants to make it through the day.
What I am interested in is connection, gratitude, and acknowledgement of the people in our lives.
Which means, I am so, so thankful for you.
I'm thankful you're reading this email and connecting with me week after week.
I'm grateful that you're in the world, being your beautiful, badass, highly sensitive self and leaving
people and places better than when you found them.
And I want to acknowledge you for everything you're doing right now to take care of yourself and others.
It counts. It all counts.
Even on the rough days, your efforts still count.
You matter.
A lot. Like, a lot, a lot.
So, I wrote you an open letter of gratitude, and I'm reading it to you on this week's episode of the Highly Sensitive Club.

Here's the letter:
My dear Highly Sensitive Person,
I wanted to tell you today how thankful I am for you.
It means the world to me that I get to come along on your journey and support you as a highly sensitive human living this rich and full life that you are living.
I know you struggled at times.
In some areas, you're struggling right now.
I know you've got challenges going on and you're facing them down and working your way through just like you always do.
You've overcome obstacles before and I trust you to overcome them again.
You're working through them right now.
I see you.
You're doing the things and you're taking good care of yourself and others the best you can.
You're holding it together and it's working.
Your efforts do count and they matter.
Keep going.
I also know you've got some amazing things in your life that deserve to be acknowledged too.
You're finding joy and laughter and connection in your daily life.
You're putting energy and effort into your health, into your relationships, and even what you want moving forward.
You're learning to trust yourself, to quiet that voice that says, "You can't figure it out, you don't know what you're doing, you're not enough."
Because I can see that you're learning to believe in yourself more and more each day.
You can figure it out.
You already know enough.
You are now and have always been enough.
You are now and will always be enough.
You make a difference, even in invisible ways that you may never see.
You do create positive energy in the world and you are leaving it a better place than you found it.
That's just who you are.
I see you processing deeply.
I see you facing new situations and new information in your relationships and taking it in.
I see you taking steps every day towards your goals.
I see you feeling big feels and riding the waves the best you know how.
I see you showing up day after day and trying again, learning from your mistakes and your wins and doing better each time.
I see you growing.
I see you becoming more resilient, more understanding, more steady.
And yes, I hear you right now saying, "I don't know about all that," but sometimes you're too close to see all the progress you're making.
It's there.
Trust me and trust yourself.
It counts and it's working.
Thank you for being open and curious with me.
Thank you for loving to learn and grow in big ways and in small moments too.
Thank you for how much you care, how deeply you feel.
That matters.
Thank you for getting up and trying again and again, even when you stumble or if you take your time getting started in the first place.
Thank you for your interest, your energy, your verve, your zest for life.
Thank you for seeing the world in so much color and in so many shades.
The world needs more people like you, and you truly do make a difference wherever you go.
You shine, my friend.
Keep letting your light shine through.
Thank you.
Thank you.
Thank you for letting me be part of your path.
Come back to this anytime you need a boost, anytime you're feeling doubt or you need to get out of your head for a moment and have someone witness all of your highly sensitive personhood.
I've got you.
Thank you.
Love, Steph.
I see you.
You are enough.
Sending you the biggest, coziest waves of love,
<3 Steph
