Hi, Highly Sensitive Person -
As a Highly Sensitive Person (HSP), I bet you've felt like the odd-one-out before.
You're the (check all that apply):
A) high-achieving, straight-A student who turns learning (and life) into your own personal feast of knowledge and curiosity
B) nerd / geek / fan who loves novels, video games, movies, TV shows, theater performances, or anything with a fantastic story
C) empath / healer / helper making sure others feel included and welcome
D) black sheep (sparkly unicorn) going against the grain of your family-of-origin, hometown, childhood culture, etc.
E) multi-passionate explorer with as many interests and hobbies as stars in the sky
F) all of the above
Now layer on any non-traditional health routines, woo-woo spiritual beliefs, and unconventional relationship dynamics, and you have a potent potion of possibility brewing in your life.
It can feel tough to be the "weirdo" when you're growing up.
As an adult, it makes you the brightest light in the room.
Being strange and unusual is an asset, not a weakness.
Now, what exactly do being queer, neurospicy, and fulfilled all have in common?
They currently coexist in my guest for the week, Em Robertson, CPC, and all three can become your greatest gifts too - even if you aren't in the sexually queer sphere.
Tune into this week's episode of Highly Sensitive Club to learn how Em's "queer approach" to life will help you gain self-trust, build deeper connections, and make the world a better place for everyone.

In the episode, you'll learn the:
"queer approach" anyone can borrow to think outside the box and create a life that's uniquely 'you.'
two simple, foundational skills you need to live a fulfilling life.
three qualities you can strengthen to challenge expectations, set kind boundaries, and build strong relationships (platonic and romantic alike)
Em's passion and empathy shine throughout this entire conversation, and they have a unique lens on how to see the world with possibility.
Challenges aren't a stopping point, they're the beginning of a conversation and the opportunity to improve what already exists.
If you like to think creatively and see the world in a different light, watch or listen to episode 79. Queer, Neurospicy, and Fulfilled with Em Robertson, CPC.
To seeing the world with rainbow-colored glasses,
Steph
P.S. If you're intrigued by Em's message, here are a couple ways they can help you.
1. Em is co-hosting a virtual workshop next Tuesday, July 29, 2025 called, "You're Not the Problem: Neurodivergent Interview Skills that Actually Work."
If you know a fellow neurospicy human who's looking for a job and wants help navigating the system in a way that supports their brain, this workshop is for them.
Replays available with registration.
Em's (com)passionate approach acknowledges the very real challenges of job interviews while creating a doable path forward so your unique gifts can rise to the top - not sink under pressure.
Sign up for the workshop here.
2. If you're interested in coaching with Em, you can connect with them directly through their website, Queerly Forward Coaching.
Em is a fantastic coach (I mentored them myself!), so if you resonated with their energy and message, you'll get high-quality coaching every session.
Take the next step here.
