My dear, big-hearted seeker,
It's inevitable that we're going to feel less than 100% positive at times.
"Negative" feelings like discomfort, guilt, shame, frustration, tiredness, and others are a totally normal part of living a full life.
But when you get stuck in the "blah," it's nice to hear some words of encouragement and support - which is one of my superpowers!
I'm writing this love letter for those times when you're doubting yourself, when you're feeling unmotivated, and when you just "don't wanna." Read it whenever you need it!
First, You (yes, You) are a bright, shining light in this world, and you provide TREMENDOUS value to everyone around you.
Your love, your attention, your energy, and your time are precious commodities that you give freely and generously.
You are making an impact on everyone you encounter, and your place in the world is important.
The person you are right now is more than enough.
Second, you deserve to have your dreams and vision come true, and you have everything you need ALREADY to make them happen.
You may have some habits that need strengthening or some thoughts that could use a shift, but you can become the person with those habits and those new thoughts at any time.
I know this because you've done it before and you'll do it again. You learn new things all the time, and you put the effort and the energy into making yourself and the world around you better.
You absolutely can be, do, and have what you truly want. I believe that completely.
Third, if you're going through a season where you feel like everything is coming at you all at once, remember that you are handling it the best way you can.
You're strong enough, capable enough, and wise enough to get through this and make it to the other side not only in one piece, but maybe even better off than where you started.
Even on your "worst" day, when nothing is going how you want and you're feeling discouraged and defeated, this feeling is only temporary.
It will pass like a storm, and you'll have clearer skies in the future. You always do. It's the nature of weather and emotions to change and shift.
Fourth and finally, people care about you, love you, and want to support you.
You are never truly alone.
While this journey may be yours to follow, you can always choose to let the people you love come along the path with you for a ways - especially when you need it most.
It shows true strength and courage to ask for help, validation, encouragement, and understanding when you need it. You are courageous, too.
It's okay to doubt yourself, my friend. We all have those moments. It's part of this colorful life of being human.
But you don't have to live there forever.
You are valuable.
You are enough.
Exactly as you are right now.
Biggest hug,
Steph
